Multi-step web performance charts on the public dashboard
Until today, the public dashboard graphs showed our standard performance graphs. But since last year we have the more informative multi-step charts available inside the AlertFox Control Center – and since today our public dashboards display these charts, too.
The rule is simple: The standard performance graphs are still used if your transaction test does not contain any multi-step data (=no STOPWATCH commands in your iMacros script). If it does – the multi-step web performance charts are used.
Note that the multi-step charts contain more information, e. g. the name of the steps and these names are part of the public chart. If for any reason you want to use some internal names for these labels e.g. “tim’s extra test step” that you do not want to make public, please consider one of these two options:
2. Create a clone of the sensor without STOPWATCH commands and make this sensor public. Sensors without STOPWATCH commands are unchanged, they will continue to show the current performance report.
