3. How much can I earn?

We pay a recurring commission on each PRO account. We only want happy users. Our users can cancel anytime. But as long as they are happy with AlertFox, you receive a monthly commission for each referral.

We have happy users and our month to month retention rate is extremely good. So if a customer stays with us over, say, three to five years, you will have earned hundreds or thousands of dollar on a single referral.

4. How do you track my sales?

There are two ways, and of course you can use both:

1. The standard method:

You link to us with a special affiliate link from your website or newsletter.

Advantage: Very easy to use
Disadvantage: Referrals might get lost if users clear their cookies or switch browsers.

2. The coupon method:

You give your customers a recurrent discount coupon with an embedded affiliate ID (we create that coupon code for you). That discount (we pay for that) and gives the users a very strong incentive to use that coupon. So even if your customers sign up using a different browser or different PC, your referral will not get lost!

Advantage: The discount gives your users a very strong incentive to sign up with that your coupon – and your referral will never be lost, even if they sign up using different browsers or even a different PC!

Disadvantage: None for you (For us there is a slight disadvantage as we need to cover the discount, but we are OK with that).

Important: No Spam! Absolutely no spam is permitted by affiliates on any search engines, news groups or mailing lists. No bulk mail, mass mail, unsolicited mail etc. is permitted. Such actions will be cause for termination of your affiliate account. E-mailing to your own opt-in lists is acceptable and encouraged.

5. Great, how do I sign up?

All AlertFox subscriptions and affiliate payments are managed by a trusted 3rd party (Plimus Inc., located in San Diego, USA). This includes a control panel were you can see all subscriptions in real time. There is no fee for this service.
